I have just got mine, even earlier than i expected (in one month), nice board, a little bigger and heavier than I expected. I just tried inside, but almost fell, even if I have experience of cruiser for years, it has another technique, you have to put your weight to the front leg instead of the behind, but with a little practice I think not hard to ride. Seems very strong, even the first gear.

This is my second W1S. The first one was great and still runs okay. I bought the new one because the battery would only charge to 80%. It turns out the problem was with the charger... But it doesn't matter. I have a brand new longer range board now.

The improvements: 1. All black hardware, very cool and clean looking.
2.The front wheels are half an inch thicker and there's a good improvement to the ride comfort.
3. Way more serious battery charger. I think I got the better, faster version. (Or maybe they just improved the charger)
4. In the box came a set of orange replacement sleeves for the hubs! Last time I had ordered the non-replaceable hubs and they still roll today but it's still nice to have the color option.

The letdowns: 1. did not receive the latest version of this board (the one that you see in the pictures on the website) wish means heavy enclosures, older style remote without a screen and so on.
2. The trucks arrives so lose that I almost painted concrete twice. I tightened them again and again and even now they probably need another full turn.
3. Grip tape arrived... Flappy? The front part that should cover the hardware is lifted and won't stick on no matter what I do.
3. I received the wrong shipping number somehow. Which means that the only shipping confirmation was when I emailed them directly to check for updates.

All in all its a decent board for a competitive price. I enjoy my Esk8 allot so thank you to the Ownboard team.

Is it possible to buy a replacement hub motor for thus board?

This board is fantastic, The controller is responsive, the speed is perfect for a college campus. Its like having a car on campus but not needing to park it ever. The battery generally lasts me about 2-3 days of random trips around campus + going into town. The largest complaint I currently have (~ a week/60km in) is that the rear wheels squeak slightly when they move. Other than that this board is perfect.

This is by far the best longboard I’ve ever owned! I’ve had 3 different brands in the past, all junk and work very skittishly. I ordered my 2nd board just now! I am a returning customer of this same board which should say a lot. Customer service is great!
