The W2 ESC uses a customized Hobbywing ESC with sensor. As other Ownboard models it still has a smooth acceleration & braking but with a faster startup speed and a more powerful climbing ability. The high discharge current of 40A will keep you and your eBoard always strong and powerful, even when you are riding on mountainous roads.
To ensure a sufficient range we choosed an appropriate battery (Samsung 30Q) with a discharge current of 45A (15A*3=45A). This new product is suitable for experienced esk8ters and more uphill roads.
The battery will be recharged when you brake, which saves up more energy for a longer ride.
2.4G Wireless Remote:
With 3 speed modes, ergonomic design, excellent soft touch material, no more connection losses，smoother acceleration & braking. An integrated LED display shows settings & battery level. We also included a vibration reminder for power & connection.
The dust proof and more resistant electric skateboard bearings for professional speeding and extended life cycle.

There are a few minor quality control issues, such as the deck having a slight, but easily noticeable, dent on the side, the griptape being placed ever so slightly crooked and the other belt hanging about a millimeter off the wheel pulley. The issues with the deck and belt worry me slightly, but luckily both are replaceable should they fail at some point.
Despite these issues, I feel like the product is great entry point to the world of electrical skateboarding. The acceleration / torque is enough to get a heavier dude up even surprisingly steep hills, even though I've already got a couple of uphills where the board couldn't keep up and started slowing down quite noticeably (maybe to somewhere around 15-20 km/h). Still, very good performance for a medium-tier board in my opinion. Top speed is more than enough for me, as I mostly cruise around the city center at about 20-25 km/h.
The battery seems to last quite nicely when riding in an almost-flat environment where one does not need to stop-and-go every 5 minutes. I got around 20 km like this with about 25% left on a single charge, and I am a heavy dude. When riding at the city, where I need to stop for red lights and other blockages, the range suffers somewhat, which is obvious, as accelerating from a standstill uses quite a lot of energy. The range is still somewhere around 15-ish km for me.
All in all, a good product with some hickups. Four out of five stars, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to get their first e-skate!
Board itself is nice, range and speed is great. Slow mode is appropriate for learning. Wear helmet, wrist guards(!), elbow and knee pads if it is your first board.
There where some problems with shipping, it took 40 days to EU, but other companies had same problem, also that part between between bearings in two 90*62mm wheels was flipped and I could not change wheels but I fixed it on my own. Took out bearing and flipped part, put bearing back. Other than that I didn't have any problems so far with board.
This is the second ownboard we buy and both experiences were very professional. One suggestion would be to give instructions on how to change out the extra wheels with gears
I don’t leave reviews but (insert paid sponsership here).
Nah I’m kidding it was a surprisingly really well built board. Only thing I’d recommend is new bearings just for the slight noise.
Takes a while to ship, and is a lil toi fkexy for my taste but i weigh 300lbs. The brakes are great and smooth tho womt bring ti complete stop on steep hills. But it is just as smooth accelerating and braking as a boosted, and can use any kegel or abec cored wheels. Much better than hub for skipping over road debris. Overall fantastic quality board comparable to boosted at half the price
The board is built great and is able to support me even at 240lbs
Perfect and very good quality for this E-skate. The first ride was magic!
Hi everyone, it's been months since I got my board and still very happy with it. I ride everyday and believe me I ride it hard
and it rides just as beautifully as it did the day I took it out of the box.
I'm now considering getting the carbon AT "40. Ride safe!
This is a great longboard. I have the KT1 as well but too scared to ride it fast. The W2 is awesome! I like the flex of the board, speed and handles great. It should have been 5 STARS, but the LED light was missing and I was told ( too bad). See picture of email.
Hi. Which belts are you useing? And can I buy them on this page?
