I bought the Prometheus and the diablo from Evolve at the same time in search of the most snowboard like carve feel. It is no comparison. After 6 months of riding both, the Prometheus is hands down the smoothest, most intuitive feeling carving board. The power and range are incredible, the board is quiet, with little to no resistance when I take off the throttle (good for coasting) and with the gear drive I can slam on the breaks and trust I’ll stop on a dime without worrying about belts slipping. All the new remotes have no issues. Oh, and the customer service has been incredible. I ran the board into a wall at 20 mph and bent a truck (my own fault), and they sent me brand new truck free of charge. This board is so underrated! I wouldn’t trade it for anything on the market. Pro-tip — If you’re between 160lbs and 200 lbs, buy an extra set of the orange bushings (from MBS) to have orange in front and back, and keep them both in the inside, narrow bushing settings. For street wheels, I switch to the 7 inch novas and I can carve at 30mph+ with total confidence.

These street wheels are a sweet balance between a soft urethane and a softer original cloud wheel. That means it takes the bumps well like a cloud should but is more responsive like a urethane. I love these wheels; must buy for those who like to blast streets at 30+mph.

Overall, this board has been an incredible ride. The power is impressive, and the acceleration is smooth and strong – even on hills. The Samsung 50S battery has been super reliable, giving me well over 40 miles per charge depending on how I ride.

The deck design is excellent. The bamboo and fiberglass combo provides just enough flex to absorb vibrations, while still keeping the board stable at higher speeds. Carving feels effortless, and the overall ride comfort is top-tier.

One issue I did run into, though, was with the metal wheel hubs that came stock. They caused a noticeable wobble at higher speeds, which affected ride stability. I ended up replacing them with plastic wheel hubs from Evolve Skateboards, and that completely fixed the problem – the ride is much smoother now, even at top speed.

Aside from that, the board has been solid. The build quality is great, and the performance has definitely lived up to the hype. I’ve been recommending the ZEUS Pro to other riders looking for a high-powered, long-range electric skateboard.

I specifically ordered a Zeus Max with 7" tires. Ownboard sent me a Zeus Max with 120 cloud wheels I specifically did not want. The board has sat. Then was sent 6" wheels and tires I specifically did not want. The board sat. Still waiting for the 7" wheels and tires I paid for! I had to buy mboard 7" Novas at Esk8Con25 for the board. Still waiting to see if Ownboard will send me what I ordered and paid for.

I love the build quality and the power of the board, the only strange thing is that some of the screw can't be unscrewed with the T-Tool, perhaps it has to be unscrewed on both top and bottom, a minor issue, other than that, just amaze-balls

pictured is not the last version, i tried stuff and just put the battery closer to the front truck, better stability. This is the "test" setup, and, i have tested, i'm convinced.

I had troubles finding what product would be the best for me on the internet : was looking for belt drive for using orangatang wheels, sufficient range, and safety
i'm do downhill longboarding at a european competitive level so i just would not buy a flexy, flat, big board. I user an old Jet board, 9.5", 84/90a front and -5° 88/97 back
took only one slam because of a wet patch i did not see (helmet is MANDATORY whatever your skill)

did 280km, 70km/h downhill seems to be close to the limit of the trucks even on a big board, and my average speed on this is around 30, so 2minutes per kilometer. Super handy for commuting, super fun, you can have downhill like full grip runs almost anywhere, easy 45 km/h on the flat...

only thing i'm a little worried about are the belt, because i may be way more brutal with my board than most reviewer on the web and it tends to touch rocks and big cracks. I'll get bigger wheels as soon as one fails, will fix the issue.

And good work putting an insert for the back truck, few knows but... yeah i don't have any downhill setup without inserts or sphericals. Just better.

May do a review some day but the weather in France is not that good this season.

The board's specs and features perfectly matched what I read on the site before purchasing. I even measured my last trip cruising around SLC and I can confirm that it got a little under 19 miles in range. the battery will obviously wear out over time but the fact that it got more than the advertised range is awesome! If I'm ever in the market for another electric longboard I will certainly come back to ownboard.

If I did have one criticism though, They claimed to have boards waiting in their warehouse in California but they didn't have any of the W2 pros so it took significantly longer to arrive than they advertised at check out. This wasn't a massive issue however as It's currently winter and I'm not the type without patience.
